Golf Best Ball is a new golf format where pairs or individuals compete based on age and handicap. Each party is identified by a number marked on their ball. Points are earned on each hole: 1 point for the longest drive (on the fairway), 2 points for being first on the green, 3 points for the ball closest to the hole, and 4 points for sinking a first putt. Players must mark their ball within one club length.
A tee twirl decides who starts the front nine, with the other team taking honors on the back nine. Teams track points, scores, and mulligans on a shared scorecard, and the team with the most points wins. Tiebreakers go to the team with fewer mulligans, then the better score. All scorecards must be signed by both captains.
Try it for yourself—it's a fresh and competitive twist on traditional golf!
